The Dismas Hub
The Dismas Hub is a community space dedicated to belonging, opportunity, and healing for individuals in reentry. Rooted in restorative values, the Hub provides access to tools, education, and relationships that foster economic stability, personal growth, and community connection. Through collaboration and compassion, The Hub helps people move from surviving to thriving.
Economic Empowerment
The Dismas Hub supports entrepreneurship, job readiness, and financial literacy for people returning from incarceration. By connecting participants with small business training, mentorship, and access to capital, we help reduce barriers to economic independence and create pathways toward generational stability.
Family Supports
Family connection is central to successful reentry. The Hub offers peer support for parents, grief groups for children impacted by incarceration, and spaces for families to rebuild trust and belonging. We believe that healing happens in community—and that strong families create strong futures.
Wellness
The Dismas Hub provides onsite Recovery Wellness programming, NA groups, and peer support for individuals in recovery. We partner with local clinicians to offer specialized care and referrals, ensuring participants have access to the full spectrum of mental, physical, and emotional health supports they need to heal and thrive.
Resource Navigation
An onsite Resource Case Manager is dedicated to helping participants access the supports they need—from housing and education to transportation, healthcare, and legal aid. By bridging the gap between need and access, The Hub empowers individuals to build stability, independence, and confidence in their reentry journey.
Food Access
The Dismas Hub’s pantry provides food support for individuals in reentry, while the community fridge—open to all neighbors—offers free fresh and shelf-stable items. Both are rooted in our belief that nourishment and dignity go hand in hand.
Advocacy
The Hub amplifies the voices of those most affected by the justice system. Through storytelling, education, and community engagement, we advocate for fair policies and build understanding of the barriers faced by justice-impacted individuals.
